Some of the larger settlements of the West Midlands. This is a list of cities, towns, villages and other settlements in the ceremonial county – not the region – of West Midlands, England. Our strategy and performance information, plans, assessments, inspections and reviews. Text in BLUE refer to documents that can be found at the bottom of the page. The Plan is our 3-year strategy to Make the West Midlands Safer, Stronger and Healthier, including the targets against which we measure ourselves such as our risk-based attendance standards.

This central area borders North West England, the East Midlands, South East England, the West Country and all three parts of Wales (south, central and north).It is the only region of Britain and Ireland to lack access to the sea. While being heavily populated and industrialised, it retains much natural beauty in the rural areas surrounding the cities.
